This NEW Record Breaking Roller Coaster Is Now COMPLETE!!

This NEW record breaking roller coaster is now complete! In a recent update by Swiss ride manufacturer Intamin the company confirm construction of a new exciting roller coaster is now at an end!

Falcons Flight – the world’s first Intamin Exa Coaster (a roller coaster exceeding heights of up to 600ft) is set to open at Six Flags Qiddiya City in 2025 and will break THREE records for being the world’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster once open.

In a recent social media update Intamin shared pictures of the moment the final piece of track was lifted and secured into place atop a giant cliff face.

Alongside Falcons Flight, Six Flags Qiddiya City (a BRAND NEW leisure destination set to open in the heart of the Saudi Arabian desert next year) will also play host to 5 other ground breaking roller coasters too.

A gigantic Vekoma Tilt Coaster named Iron Rattler and a huge GCI (Great Coasters International) wooden roller coaster named Colossus are just two of the other coasters set to join Six Flags Qiddiya City’s roller coaster line up.

Falcons Flight is however set to be the star attraction reaching heights of up to 640ft, speeds of up to 156 mph and spanning a total length of 13,943.6 ft from beginning to end.

Hype surrounding the new ride is already at fever pitch, but today’s update by Intamin put to bed every doubt anyone ever had of this ride not coming to fruition.

Alongside the above official shots of the final work taking place Intamin also shared the following statement;

“The world’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster is now complete! The final piece of Falcons Flight at Qiddiya has been put into place.

Setting this final track piece was a huge milestone in roller coaster history. It required perfect placement, adjustment, and alignment with the incredible cliff drop section, all working from an 80-meter-high basket.”

Work on the construction of record breaking roller coaster has been ongoing for some time, however today marks the end of the construction process of Falcons Flight and hopefully soon, the beginning of ride testing.

As well as roller coasters Six Flags Qiddiya City is also set to play host to a number of other record breaking rides and attractions including a record breaking shot and drop tower, a magical immersive trackless dark ride and a Huge water park named Aquarabia!
