Efteling Announce Complete Revamp Of Raveleijn Themed Area.

Efteling have announced a complete revamp and re-imagining of their popular Raveleijn themed area of the park for 2026.

The exisiting area is set to undergo a full reimagining and expansion in time for the park’s 2026 season featuring a brand new show, a stunning new attraction and more.

The new show (set to replace the current one) will keep the main characters currently featured in their existing show but will be vastly improved with dazzling new effects, a more immersive storyline and a brand new set to boot.

Raveleijn’s expansion will also feature new food and beverage facilities, a new family friendly flat ride and a brand new souvenir shop too.

Their current show (brought to you in partnership with the popular French amusement park brand Puy Du Fou) can be enjoyed up until Christmas of this year.

The above concept art released in line with the park’s latest announcement gives us a first look at how the Raveleijn area of the park will be transformed for 2026.

Talking further about what guests can expect from Raveleijn’s complete 2026 reimagining, Koen Sanders, Director of Product, Market & Image states;

“In line with our vision of full immersion, we are looking at the entire area surrounding the park show in this development. The story of Raveleijn lends itself perfectly to this.”

“By placing the new attraction outside the open-air arena, we are enlarging the themed area. The park show will undergo a complete transformation, meaning that it will be performed more often than ever before: several times a day and almost year-round. We are also choosing more environmentally friendly fire effects, which combined with the improvements to the show, will create an even more spectacular experience for guests.”

In addition to the expansion of Efteling’s Raveleijn area the park are also building a brand new flat ride too.

This thrilling new attraction is said to give guests the chance to “fly like the ravens of Raveleijn” and will place those who board it in a flying position.

The many flowing movements and tilting motions will create a strong sense of intensity and excitement, making riding the area’s new ride a truly thrilling experience.

The inclusion of this brand new flat ride also falls inline with Efteling’s upcoming new, family friendly drop towers set to open next to the park’s iconic B&M Dive Coaster Baron 1898 in 2026 too.

It’s great to see Efteling thinking about how they can further better their current visitor experience with the inclusion of rides more suited to a younger audience and we’re sure these latest new addition will not only improve a visit to Efteling but will also expand on already popular storylines too.
