American Heartland Theme Park Project Collapses.
American Heartland theme park project collapses. Plans for a HUGE new 404 acre theme park and resort project slated to open in 2026 just off America’s iconic Route 66 have collapsed in spectacular fashion.
The American Heartland aka. Disney’s American Heartland was originally announed to the world back in 2023 and was planned to open next year in Vinita, Oaklahoma.
In breaking news plans for the project have now officially crashed and burned after multiple accusations of unlawful financial foul play pointed a 3 key figures behind the project have surfaced resigning the American Heartland to the pages of history.
The gigantic new theme park and resort would have featured 6 fully themed areas, a luxurious 4 star hotel, an indoor waterpark, a camping and RV park and multiple immersively themed rides and attractions across the park’s 404 acre footprint.
On July 25th though The American Heartland project announced bankruptcy accumulating millions of dollars worth of debt and legal ramifications affecting all involved.
A lawsuit against Rick Silanskas Jr., Larry Wilhite and Steve Hedrick by the project’s main investor Gene Bicknell accuses the three of attempting to outlaw up to $60 million.
Methods stated for doing this are said to include the three impersonating religious figures including someone named Sister Catherine and god himself, a plot straight out of Hollywood itself.
As a result the American Heartland theme park project was officially announced as collapsed and failed as of late last month.
This is also not the first time one of the three named has been behind a failed theme park project either as Rick Silanskas Jr. is also said to have been behind the failed DreamVision project too.
As a result of this many local to the area where the new theme park was set to open have been left sorely disappointed and to make matters worse, the park would never have opened next year anyway.
This is due to the only physical progress being made in the last two and a half years being a dirt track leading up to where the Three Ponies RV & Camping Ground would’ve stood.
The rest including the theme park, 4 star hotel and attractions remain only a painted vision now assigned to the history books.
