Major NEW Theme Park To Open This Year!
A major NEW theme park is set to open this year despite doubts it would manage to achieve it’s desired 2025 opening date.
Six Flags Qiddiya City based just outside Riyadh in Saudi Arabia is an exciting new mega park project that has captured the imagination of theme park fans worldwide.
The new park, set to make up just one of a number of different theme parks located within Saudi Arabia’s first ever city fully dedicated to play will feature a range of thrilling rides and roller coasters, many breaking records, but one in particular has peaked the interest of many an enthusiast.
Falcons Flight – the world’s FIRST Intamin Exa Coaster (a roller coaster exceeding heights of up to 500ft) is set to open as part of Six Flags Qiddiya City’s opening day ride line up.

The multi-record breaking new ride reaches heights of up to 640ft, speeds of up to 155 mph and spans a total length of 13,943.6ft from beginning to end making it the world’s tallest, longest and fastest roller coaster to date.
Falcons Flight also utilises the surrounding terrain to deliver a truly ‘one-of-a-kind’ experience with it’s 500ft+ camel back hill being the ride’s defining moment overall.
Six Flags Qiddiya City’s new multi-record breaking coaster isn’t the only record breaking ride to be opening at the park either though.
The new mega park features 8 different roller coasters overall, each offering it’s own individual ride experience.
From the world’s tallest Vekoma Tilt Coaster with Iron Rattler to Spitfire – a gigantic, 200ft plus tall Intamin launch coaster Six Flags Qiddiya City is set to offer something for everyone when it finally opens to the public later this year!

So, the million dollar question then – WHEN will Six Flags Qiddiya City finally open it’s gates to public visitors?
Well, don’t threat, those wanting to visit won’t have too much longer to wait until they can finally step through those golden gates and experience everything this major new theme park has to offer.
Infact, as we speak exclusive previews are taking place for family members of those involved in the project as well as V.I.P guests and a whole host of other special visitors.
Videos from these previews have surfaced online showing a lot of what guests will encounter when they finally make their visit including the inside of Falcons Flight’s ride station and an on-ride perspective of Iron Rattler.
Saudi Arabia’s major new theme park will however finally welcome public visitors for the first time next month as Six Flags Qiddiya City is slated to officially open on 31st December 2025.
Although the park did promise a “2025 opening” opening the park on New Year’s Eve does feel a little like a technicality, but regardless it meets the developers promise to welcome public visitors to the countries new major theme park by the end of this year.
Views on whether or not people will infact make the trip do remain divided though, but it’s safe to say this latest new park will prove quite the spectacle once it does open.
