Although no official opening date has yet been set for Six Flags Over Texas’ new roller coaster, details about what riders can expect are already out there and it’s safe to say this gargantuan new Dive Coaster is going to be quite the ride.
Tormenta will reach heights of up to 309ft, speeds of up to 87 mph, feature a 95 degree beyond vertical drop and also feature the world’s tallest immelmann loop at a head spinning height of 218ft tall!
It’ll also be the world’s longest dive coaster at 4,199ft long and will feature the world’s tallest vertical loop element too standing at a whopping 179ft in height.
Overall Tormenta is set to make quite the addition the Six Flags Over Texas’ 13 other current roller coasters and will surely dominate the park’s skyline once complete.
