MAHUKA Train Revealed By Walibi Rhone Alpes.
MAHUKA – the BRAND NEW Hotrod coaster coming to Walibi Rhone Alpes in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France has had it’s ride train reveal this week.
The new roller coaster set to open as part of an entirely new area will be the first of it’s kind in Europe and the second of it’s kind to open at anywhere worldwide (with Big Dipper at Luna Park Sydney being the first).
The launched single rail roller coaster will open in June and has been manufactured by Swiss ride manufacturer Intamin.
Intamin are currently considered by many to be one of the main manufacturers leading innovation within the themed attractions industry worldwide.
In our opinion, rides such as VelociCoaster at Universal Orlando Resort & Efteling’s upcoming NEW dark ride Danse Macabre stand testament to this.
In a big reveal on their social media the park gifted fans with their FIRST LOOK at the shiny new ride train which has been designed to represent a jeep.
Given the area is set to be jungle themed we personally feel this look will suit the ride perfectly and will compliment it’s surroundings nicely.
MAHUKA’s ride train also reflects the coaster’s animated concept video too looking identical to how the coaster train was depicted in the video.
The coaster itself will reach speeds of up to 41.6 mph, heights of up to 59 ft and includes 3 inversions throughout it’s 1,968.5 ft of steel track.
