10 Weird Pleasure Beach Facts You Won’t BELIEVE!

Pleasure Beach Resort in Blackpool have recently revealed 10 weird NEW facts for 2025 so far, and some of them you won’t BELIEVE!

In an intruguing new release by the iconic seaside amusement park Blackpool Pleasure Beach have shared some intrguing new stats you wouldn’t have thought to look up.

From this year’s total loops on Revolution so far to the amount of times guests have ‘joined the Mad Hatter’s tea party’ in 2025 the park wittle down some of the most interesting new facts about guest behaviour this year so far.

So, what are these stats and what do they look like? Let’s take a look…

1 – Guests have climbed mount Everest 38 times!

The distance covered by the park’s iconic Arrow Dynamics hyper coaster the Big One so far this year is believe to equate to the same distance as climbing the world’s tallest mountain Everest 38 times in a row!

To date, The Big One has been sent around a grand total of 4,772 times climbing to a total height of 235 ft (213 ft from ground level) with every ride cycle equating to 38 Everest climbs. Just imagine how your feet would feel if you were to attempt that little feat eh?

2 – Guests have eaten one and a half jacuzzi tubs worth of donuts!

We all love a good sweet treat every now and then don’t we, but could you imagine trying to consume one and a half jacuzzi tubs worth of donuts?

Well, since the start of the season guests have cured their sugar cravings with 67,679 delicious donuts to date which is said to be enough to fill a full size jacuzzi tub one and a half times over!

Just imagine the detist bill if you attempted to eat that many donuts in one go haha.

To date guests visiting Blackpool Pleasure Beach are said to have consumed enough donuts in 2025 so far to fill a full size jacuzzi tub one and a half times over!

3 – Guests feel the same force as a Formula One racing Car 48,000 times!

To date guests are said to have felt the same force as driving a Formula One racing car nearly 50,000 times this year.

The UK’s only double launch roller coaster ICON is said to have launched guests from standstill to velocity a total of 48,160 times since the beginning of Pleasure Beach Resort’s 2025 season.

That’s one hell of a race if you ask us!

4 – Guests have rolled from Tower Bridge to London Eye!

Savoury treats are the latest focus of this next weid and wonderful fact – hotdogs to be precise. Since the beginning of Pleasure Beach Resort’s 2025 it’s said that guests have eaten enough hotdogs to form a straight line from Tower Bridge to the London Eye!

That’s a whopping total of 16,624 hotdogs! We all love a good eating challenge but this many hotdogs would be an absolute no go, even for the Leeds based legend that is Beard Meats Food.

5 – Revolution inverts riders over 12,000 times this year

Since the beginning of 2025 Revolution at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is said to have inverted those brave enough to ride a whopping total of 12,464 times!

This takes into account the ride’s forwards trajectory and backwards trajectory with every ride cycle meaning the ride has made 6,232 times to date.

Could you imaging going upside down that many times in a row, you’d definitely feel it afterwards that’s for sure! haha.

6 – Fans have ridden all the way to the North Pole

So far this year guests have managed to ride the equivalent distance of traveling from Blackpool Pleasure Beach to the North Pole.

This stat takes into account the total distance traveled by EVERY coaster at the park combined this year and is crazy to say the least!

Afterall, what better way to meet Santa than by traveling to the North Pole aboard a roller coaster eh? haha.

7 – Guests join the Mad Hatter for tea over 60,000 times!

Who else loves a good old cup of tea? You too right? Well, this latest fact will definitely peak your interest then.

Since the start of 2025 it’s revealed that guests have ‘joined the Mad Hatter for tea’ a grand total of 60,181 times.

This stat of course relates to the amount of cycles racked up aboard Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s iconic Alice in Wonderland ride, and it’s just as mad as the hatter to say the least!

8 – Over 54k Souls have made it to Valhalla!

Since the beginning of 2025 Pleasure Beach Resort are said to have sent well over 54,000 brave souls to the Viking afterlife aboard their seven time award winning world’s BEST water dark ride!

54,462 guests have bravely boarded their very own viking long boat and have embarked upon a treacherous journey into the Norse afterlife.

The multi-million pound dark ride (which was recently re-imagined as part of an energy efficient makeover for the park 125th anniversary) features immersive scenery, special effects and thousands of gallons of water delivering a mesmerising and unforgettable experience from beginning to end!

Over 54,000 brave souls have boarded their very own Viking long boat and have braved the journey to Valhalla since the beginning of this year.

9 – Guests have spent one month drinking coffee.

Every now and then it’s good to stop, take a seat and enjoy a nice hot cuppa joe, everyone does it right? Well, those visiting Blackpool Pleasure Beach especially seem to love their caffeine fix!

Since the beginning of the park’s 2025 season it’s believe that those visiting the park have spent the time equivalent of ONE whole month drinking coffee.

This figure comes as the park’s onsite coffee shop WG Beans revealed a total of 5,287 coffees have been sold to guests this year with those drinking it taking an average of 10 minutes to do so! That equates to a whopping 52,870 minutes spent drinking coffee at Blackpool Pleasure Beach so far this year!

10 – Guests have spent an entire day listening to their favourite tunes!

Finally, the last weird Blackpool Pleasure Beach fact will really be music to your ears, literally haha! Since the beginning of 2025 it’s been revealed that those visiting the park have spent the equivalent of one whole day back to back listening to their favourite music at the park.

So far this year a total of 451 different songs have been requested by those visiting Pleasure Beach on PB Radio – the park’s own, onsite dedicated radio station located opposite Wallace and Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic.

The listening time is said to have equated to a total of 26.25 hours which is just over one full 24 hour day in total!
