Six Flags Qiddiya City Reaches NEW Milestone
Six Flags Qiddiya City has reaches a brand new milestone in it’s journey to finally welcoming guests for the very first time in the not too distant future.
Saudi Arabia’s upcoming NEW tourist destination dubbed the world’s first ever city “fully dedicated to play” has recently revealed full details surrounding what guests can expect when visiting the new theme park in the very near future.
Although Six Flags Qiddiya City’s opening date is still yet to be announced recent developments both on site and online lead those watching it’s progress to believe they may not have to wait too much longer before exploring the new park for themselves.
The BRAND NEW theme park which is set to play host to FIVE world record beating new rides will feature 6 fully themed lands, 28 different rides and attractions and a ride that will break several records at once.
Rides include Iron Rattler – the world’s TALLEST Vekoma Tilt Coaster, Sirocco Tower – the world’s TALLEST free standing shot and drop tower and of course Falcons Flight – the world’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster – also the world’s first Intamin Exa Coaster to open worldwide (to name but a few).

In a brand new development on Six Flags Qiddiya City’s official website those curious to know more may just have hit the jackpot.
A NEW, interactive digital map has now been added to the park’s official site detailing everything you can expect when visiting the new theme park.
This includes a full detailed break down of each individual area including ride locations, catering facilities, amenities and more.
The new animated map also shows how the park will look once complete and features motion animations of the different rides in operation.
This not only signifies another step closer to opening for Six Flags Qiddiya City but also (to us at least) suggests an opening date reveal may not but too far away either.
Six Flags Qiddiya City is currently estimated to reach completion in late 2025 with an opening date being projected within this time frame too, but current progress being made could suggest a 2026 opening would be far more likely given the current state of play.

Six Flags Qiddiya City won’t be the only leisure destination featured in Saudi Arabia’s newest torusit destination though.
As well as the theme park Qiddiya is also set to play host to Aquarabia – a ground breaking new, highly immersive water park featuring 22 rides and experiences (5 of which are set to break records), the world’s FIRST Dragon Ball Z theme park – an entire theme park fully dedicated to the popular anime franchise, a gigantic Formula 1 racing circuit and an 18 hole golf course to name but a few other additions.
It’s safe to say Six Flags Qiddiya City is shaping up to be a real game changer where the themed attractions industry is concerned and with some truly ground breaking new rides and attractions on offer it’s fair to say the pull to visit may prove irresistable for some once the park opens.
We look forward to watching this exciting new mega project progress over the coming months as rides and attractions continue to test and we move ever closer to that all important opening date reveal.
