Here’s EVERYTHING you need to know about Efteling Grand Hotel – Efteling’s NEW signature hotel set to welcome guests for the very first time this August 1st!
Efteling’s new signature accommodation is located at the entrance to the park and boasts a whole host of exciting, immersively themed rooms and suites, dining options and more to enjoy while visiting the Netherlands’ favourite family theme park.
The new premium hotel will offer a total of 140 different rooms and suites and will also be the first hoel property to be located within the park itself.
This equates to a staggering 644 comfy beds across a whole host of different room options. So, what can you actually expect from a stay at the Efteling Grand Hotel? Here’s what we know…
Checking In For Your Stay!
Your magical Efteling hotel experience begins with checking in, as does any hotel stay for that matter! From the moment you step foot through the doors to the moment you leave it’s said those staying will be immersed into the park’s fairytale world.
The Efteling Grand Hotel is set to feature a fully digital check in service with Bellhops on hand to ensure your journey through arrival is as seemless as possible.
Valet parking and luggage handling will also be available too ensuring guests feel relaxed and looked after from the moment they arrive. This also ensures vehicles are looked after for those staying too, a real luxury experience.
Not a fan of checking in digitally? Don’t worry! The hotel will also feature a fully manned reception desk at all times too to ensure any worries or problems checking in are nagated as effieciently and pain free as possible.
What’s more, it’s also said that guests will be greeted by two princesses who will be on hand to welcome those staying, a new signature scent in the air, a grand piano serrenading those arriving with melodic masterpieces and a gigantic, golden key encrused chandelier hanging in the centre of the Efteling Hotel’s grand entrance hall.
Choosing Your Room!
As mentioned previously the Efteling Grand Hotel comprises of 140 different rooms and suites located across a total of 7 different floors.
Those staying will have the chance to choose from a full range of overnight accommodation options ranging from beautifully themed family rooms to a rather special luxurious “Excellence Tower Suite”.
Rooms on offer are said to be able to cater up to a maximum of 6 persons per room depending on room type and the hotel also features a “premium deluxe room” too.
So, what do these look like? Here’s a full breakdown of the 8 different room options on offer;

- Three, Four, Five and Six-Person Deluxe Room
- Three Person Premium Deluxe Room with Balcony
- Three Person Tower Room
- Three and Five Person Tower Room with Accessible Sanitary Facilities
- Three Person Suite and Three Person Suite with Balcony
- Five Person Suite with Separate Bedroom and Five Person Suite with Balcony and One Separate Bedroom
- Six Person Suite with Balcony and Six Person Tower Suite with Separate Living Room and Two Separate Bedrooms
- Six Person Excellence Tower Suite
All rooms overlook the park and offer different views of Efteling depending on where abouts in the property you’re located.
These include stunning views of Efteling’s Aquanura water show, the fairytale forest, the house of the five sense entrance and Pardoes Promenade Lane.
What’s more those staying at The Efteling Grand Hotel can look forward to a complimentary breakfast at Brasserie 7 and half an hour of exclusive ride time per day they’re staying on site.
Each room is also said to feature it’s own personal touch too with guests having the chance to enjoy some much needed amenities as well as a fairytale book in each room.
Going Gastronomical!
Feeling peckish and want to sample the culinary delights on offer at The Efteling Grand Hotel but don’t have a room? Don’t worry, the hotel’s TWO signature dining options – Brasserie 7 & Restaurant-Bar Mystique are available for both hotel guests and park visitors to enjoy.
Brasserie 7 is set to offer up a classic menu consisting of “seven magical ingredients” such as princess tears and snow from Mother Holle. The restaurant is said to be serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner for all to enjoy.
Lunch and dinner menus are said to feature 7 different starters, mains and deserts set to tickle your fancy the only way Efteling can. There is also a special menu for little ones too as well as a full range of vegetarian & vegan options too ensuring Brasserie 7 caters to all. Why 7 of each though we hear you ask? The significance of this numerical choice is said to reflect fairytale elements such as the seven dwarfs in Snow White and the seven goats who manage to escape the big, bad wolf.
Restaurant Bar-Mystique is a totally different kettle of fish though (not literally, don’t worry haha) and is located on the first floor serving up a full variety of exquisitly unique dishes and delights as well as prime views of Aquanura for those dining.
The restaurant’s ‘premium dining experience’ is said to offer a range of sophisticated dining options and surprises thoughout. What’s more, even the table decorations are set to be edible too meaning guests can combine them with various different dishes to create some truly unique gastronomical experiences.
Mystique will however only be available by prior reservation but will be open to both hotel guests and day guests alike. Restaurant Bar-Mystique will also play host to the hotel’s bar too serving up a full range of delicious cocktails and bites for those visiting to enjoy.
Finally, hotel guests also have the chance to sit down and take 5 in Cafe Biscuit – the hotel’s fully dedicated coffee shop serving up delicious barista handcrafted beverages and the hotel’s signature biscuit (hence the name).
Ammenities & Facilities!
Had a long day on park and aching from head to foot? Don’t worry, Efteling Grand Hotel also has you covered there too but shush, this one’s only available to those staying overnight!
Located on the ground floor guests at the Efteling Grand Hotel will have chance to enjoy exclusive access to the hotel’s pool and spa facilities.
These include a steam room, sauna, massage room and a multi-functional ‘serenity room’. Guests will have the chance to wind down and relax, chill out or even pray in the hotel’s onsite spa.
In need of some retail therapy (aren’t we all)? Well, you’ll also be happy to hear the Efteling Grand Hotel will also feature it’s very own boutique retail outlets too selling everything from souvenirs and character costumes to fragrances, bathroom products and cosmetics that are said to capture the essence of Efteling.
These will be available in the Efteling Grand Hotel’s two onsite outlets – Arcadeau & Hotel Boutique Sens. Hotel Boutique Sens is also only available exclusively to hotel guests too and will be accessible after park hours through a direct link with reception.
