Efteling Attempts World Record!
Efteling are set to attempt a world record to mark the opening of The Efteling Grand Hotel this August – the resort’s NEW signature hotel accommodation set within the grounds of the park itself.
To mark the opening of the Efteling Grand Hotel on August 1st Efteling, the Netherlands’ favourite family theme park will attempt to attach a gigantic decorative bow to the hotel’s front facade!
The exact measurements of the ribbon itself, made from traditional gift wrap ribbon material are set to be revealed at a later date, however the current record is set at 3.5 meters wide by 1.5 meters high. Efteling will therefore attempt to beat this giving them the title of the world’s LARGEST ribbon bow.
To do this Efteling have submitted a formal application to Guinness World Records – a globally recognised organisation that records remarkable, extraordinary, and exceptional achievements in both human feats and nature.
Whether or not the record will be achieved is still yet to be confirmed, but the park have stated that confirmation of the completion of their attempt (including imagery) will follow following the new hotel’s opening.
The Efteling Grand Hotel will be Efeling’s NEW signature accommodation option and will feature 140 rooms across 7 floors. This equates to 644 comfy beds across a footprint of 106 meters in length.
Efteling’s new hotel will also feature unique, never before seen views of the park, their Aquanura water show, the fairytale forest and more.
The hotel will also boast spa facilities, a range of dining and retail options and a grand entrance plaza with a coffee shop serving hot and cold beverages and signature biscuits inside the entrance too named Cafe Biscuit.
