Bluey Arrives At Alton Towers Resort This Season Marking 10 Years Of Cbeebies Land!

Bluey – a popular Cbeebies TV character is set to make their debut at Alton Towers Resort this season as part of Cbeebies Land’s 10 year celebrations.

The loveable, inexhaustible, Blue Heeler dog first launched to audiences down under (Australia) in 2018 and has since become Cbeebies number one rated TV character with audiences streaming over 450 million times since the show launched on BBC iPlayer.

Bluey also holds it’s spot as one of the top rated children’s tv series in the U.S., Australia, the UK,
France, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Italy.

The lovable mutt is set to make her debut in Cbeebies Land from the 23rd March onwards and will reportedly be available for children to meet on a daily basis.

Bluey was first created & written by Joe Brumm and is produced by the multiple Emmy® Award-winning Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios.

The much loved TV character will join other popular Cbeebies icons such as Hey Duggee, Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy, Bing and Flop, Ubercorn, Peter Rabbit and the Teletubbies.

Speaking about Bluey’s upcoming arrival at the park Bianca Sammut – Alton Towers’ divisional director said;

“As a fellow Australian, I am personally very excited to welcome Bluey to the Resort. I know this joy and excitement will be shared by so many families across the UK.

The 2024 season will mark the 10th anniversary of CBeebies Land and Bluey’s arrival is one of many ways we are looking to make it memorable for young guests and their families.”

As mentioned before Cbeebies Land is officially set to celebrate it’s 10 year anniversary with the park this year first launching in 2014.

The popular children’s TV IP themed land replaced Alton Towers’ former Story Book land which played host to a full range of iconic children’s rides and attractions – many of which have since been rethemed to fit in with the current Cbeebies retheme.

2023 saw a further 3 new additions added to the land with Hey Duggee’s Big Adventure Badge, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig, and JoJo & Gran Gran At Home all making their debut to fans of the land.

Alton Towers also plays host to the UK’sonly Cbeebies themed hotel which gives younger guests and families the chance to enjoy an overnight stay surrounded bu the favourite Cbeebies characters.
