Blackpool Pleasure Beach Launch Lowest Ticket Prices Yet!

Blackpool Pleasure Beach have just launched their LOWEST ticket prices yet with brand new admission costs set to honour their founder’s original mission!

The iconic Blackpool based amusement park have announced their most competitive admission prices yet by allowing guests to head ‘back in time’ with the cost of their visit.

The new admission prices are said to honour the park’s founder William George Bean (Great Grandfather to Pleasure Beach’s current CEO Amanda Thompson OBE) who first opened his amusement park to paying guests in 1896.

The park’s upcoming marketing campaign harks back to the days of nostalgia inviting younger and older visitors alike to enjoy Blackpool Pleasure Beach for what it is, a HUGE adrenaline fueled playground when adults can feel like children again.

This mission, first set in place by Amanda Thompson OBE’s great-grandfather still rings true to this day and is the motto the park have lived by ever since they first opened 129 years ago.

So, how do you enjoy this newly discounted admission? Well, throughout May and June adults are able to enjoy the same admission cost as a junior ticket.

This means that if booked in advance adults can enjoy a day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach for as little as £30.00 per person.

Speaking about the new admission prices, Amanda Thompson OBE – CEO of Blackpool Pleasure Beach has said;

“In 1896, my great-grandfather William George Bean started his amusement empire which we all know and love today as Pleasure Beach Resort.

“He was very clear that in creating our amusement park he wanted to make adults feel like children again. To continue that mission, we’re launching this new campaign, and I hope it will bring the same joy to families in 2025 as it has been doing for centuries.”

William George Bean (1856–1946) founded Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach, and was inspired by the amusement parks he visited in America.

He first purchased a motorcycle monorail which was positioned on the sandy south beach of Blackpool. As the seaside town became a popular tourist destination, Bean continued to buy and build rides, his most notable being built in 1904, Sir Hiram Maxim’s Captive Flying Machines which are still being ridden in the park today.

Speaking over one hundred years ago, William George Bean said;

“We wanted to found an American Style Amusement Park, the fundamental principle of which is to make adults feel like children again and to inspire gaiety of a primarily innocent character.”

Ultimately, with Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s current ‘dynamic’ pricing structure, the earlier you book your tickets the more you will save on the cost of your visit.

From today however up until the end of June ALL tickets will show at the same price value as that of a junior ticket.

On May 24, the park is hosting a late-night event in the form of Twilight Thrills. This means guests can enjoy 11 hours of riding as well as live entertainment for the price of a child’s ticket – which is currently priced at £34.00.

Speaking further about the park’s new nostalgic pricing structure, Amanda Thompson OBE went on to say;

“Life is more magical when we allow ourselves to embrace our inner child. At Pleasure Beach, we’re committed to crafting moments that remind grown-ups what it’s like to see the world through a child’s eyes.”

As of last week, Blackpool Pleasure Beach have also reopened their iconic S&S Shot Tower Launch Pad (formerly known as Ice Blast and Playstation The Ride) offering thrill seekers the chance to blast off to new heights once again.
