American Heartland Is Coming To Oklahoma!

A HUGE New Theme Park Named American Heartland Is Set To Open In Oklahoma In 2026!

Plans to bring a BRAND NEW $2 Billion theme park & resort to Northeast Oklahoma have been announced as American Heartland sets out plans to change the face of theme parks near Vinita, Oklahoma.

American Heartland will span a total of 1,000 acres and is estimated to bring 4.9 million guests to Oklahoma each year.

The exciting new development will be located west of Grand Lake on Route 66 and will be built in phases with phase 1 – a large scale RV park complete with cabins set to open as soon as 2025.

American Heartland will be comprised of a 125 acre theme park, a luxurious 4 star hotel, an indoor waterpark and a sizable RV park and campground.

Plans for the theme park itself have been compared to the likes of Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney World as a whole in their grandeur and recent concept art appears to support that.

American Heartland will span a total size of 1,000 acres with a 125 acre Disney-esque theme park at it's core.

The theme park will feature everything from live shows and entertainment to immersive rides, food and beverage units aplenty and so much more.

The park itself is currently projected to open in 2026 and will be divided into 6 heavily themed lands.

The different lands will feature high octane rides and roller coasters, waterways, immersive dark rides and more all centered around an Americana theme.

Some of the proposed rides include a swing launched roller coaster named Terminal Velocity, a drop tower, a sizable wooden roller coaster (also pictured in the recent concept art), a trackless dark ride named Haunted Lighthouse and so much more.

Other attractions revealed also include a gigantic log flume named Timber Falls with a giant mountain at it’s heart.

Overall, the plans for American Heartland look incredibly impressive and given the fact 20 plus former Disney Imgaineers are said to be involved it’s no surprise.

Speaking about American Heartland in a recent interview, Rusty Cornwell – State Rep for Oklahoma said;

“Oklahoma is excited to welcome American Heartland Theme Park and Resort,”

“Located on historic Route 66 just west of Grand Lake, the development will attract visitors from around the world to experience and celebrate the rich cultures and hometown values America has to offer.”

Adjacent to the theme park will be a 320 acre RV park and Campground named Three Ponies RV Park & Campground.

Three Ponies will be the BIGGEST campground in the central U.S. and will play host to 750 RV spaces and 300 cabins.

The company behind the massive development also have local routes too. American Heartland is an affiliate of Mansion Entertainment Group LLC who are known as Branson’s leading name in the Entertainments industry.

The 4 star hotel is set to feature 300 rooms and will also include access to an indoor water park for those staying on resort.

Overall, although American Heartland is still in the earlier stages when it comes to development it certainly looks incredibly impressive and once built will rival the likes of Disney and Universal Studios in it’s scale and immersion.

Developing a theme park and resort of this scale is never an easy task and given today’s financial situation it’s certainly very risky.

We do however have whole faith in American Heartland and believe that as grand as it may first appear, this affluent theme park will infact come to fruition.

Speaking on the development of American Heartland – CEO Larry Wilhite said;

“We are thrilled to make Oklahoma the home of American Heartland Theme Park and Resort,”

“At the crossroads of the heartland, Oklahoma is an attractive location for a family entertainment destination. The state’s business-friendly approach and innovative partnership efforts have helped make this possible. We look forward to bringing unforgettable generational experiences to Oklahoma.”

We’ll be sure to keep you all updated as this magnificent project progresses and as such we look forward to hearing more about American Heartland in the years ahead.
