Alton Towers Announce NEW RIDE Opening Date!
Alton Towers Resort have announced the opening date of their highly anticipated NEW 2025 ride – TOXICATOR!
The park’s new 2025 Suspended HUSS Top Spin ride will take daring thrill seekers to new heights spinning and flipping them above bubbling pools of toxic alien acid!
“The extreme centrifugal forces are designed to extract and refine toxic saliva from the Nemesis beast, converting it into a chemical solution so powerful it can melt anything it touches.”
TOXICATOR is said to be the latest experimental development by the shadowy government organisation known only as The Phalanx and will open to guests in the heat of Forbidden Valley, also home to the park’s legendary inverted roller coaster Nemesis (now known as Nemesis Reborn).
In an official announcement this morning Alton Towers Resort have confirmed they plan to open their new ‘head spinning’ attraction during the park’s 2025 opening day – Saturday 15th March 2025!
TOXICATOR is also set to the be TALLEST of it’s kind in the world too thanks to the 16 ft tall elevation courtesy of the themed platform the ride will stand on allowing those brave enough to reach dizzying heights of up to 78 ft overall.
Along with today’s opening date announcement, Alton Towers have also given fans their first, tantalizing taste of what they can expect from TOXICATOR should they be brave enough to “Submit to the Spin” on opening day.
Talking about today’s announcement and first look, Bianca Sammut – Vice President of Alton Towers has said;
“We’re excited to be giving fans a flavour of the truly ‘spincredible’ power of Toxicator.
“From the 15th March those brave enough to submit to the spin will be able to experience the latest that Forbidden Valley has to offer.”
Want to know more about what you can expect from Alton Towers’ NEW Ride? Here are a few facts we know;
- The topspin ride will allow more than 500 riders per hour
- This double-sided version is one of only two in Europe
- Height restriction: 1.4m
- Green-lit water fountains on both sides of the ride
- Total height will stand at over 78ft tall. This is due to the ride being elevated on a 16ft structure, that guests walk underneath (a world-first)
