Efteling Wonder Hotel Launch TWO New Themed Suites.
Efteling Wonder Hotel have announced the launch of TWO new immersively themed hotel suites this month (formerly known as the Efteling Hotel prior to the opening of The Efteling Grand Hotel this summer).
From later this month families visiting Efteling for an overnight stay will have the chance to book themselves into one of two exciting new themed hotel suites themed to two of the park’s most popular ride IPs.
Hotel suites themed to Joris en de Draak (George and the Dragon) and Max & Moritz will open at the Efteling Wonder Hotel allowing families to immerse themselves into the worlds of these two iconic attractions.

The two new hotel suites will be available to book via the resort’s official website from Saturday 19th December 2025 (this month) and will offer two very different overnight experiences.
Those staying in the hotel’s new Max & Moritz themed suite can expect a playful, mischievious overnight stay with the room featuring the troublesome pair’s signature touches of manic mayhem.
The suite is said to feature such elements as “scorched curtains” and “cracked window panes” – all marks of the gruesome twosome’s inventive escapades. The room also covers a total floorspace of 53m2, big enough for 5 persons and features a luxurious double bed, a bunk bed and pull out bed located under the bottom bunk.
The Max & Moritz suite also features a seating area, “attic hatch” playing home to the duo’s furry pet who dangles above your heads, a chest with the boys’ belongings and a ‘Boom Blaster’ to give your parents a good scare.
Your stay here will of course also include a very extensive breakfast buffet and Access to swimming pool Het Badhuys in Efteling Bosrijk to boot.

If the mischievious escapades of Max & Moritz aren’t your thing though and you fancy a much more adventurous overnight stay then the Efteling Wonder Hotel’s NEW Joris en de Draak suite might be more up your alley.
This enchanting, medieval themed hotel suite centred around Efteling park’s iconic dueling wooden roller coasters features everything you’d expect from the mythical hero and his conquests.
The room is said to centre around “the swamp where the dragon dwells” sporting earthy green tones and wooden furniture, reminiscent of the ride type in question.
Efteling Wonder Hotel’s NEW Joris en de Draak themed suite features room enough for 5 persons with an identical floorspace to that of the previous suite again featuring a double bed, bunk beds and a pull out bed under the bottom bunk.
In the ‘Cabinet of the Bold’, you’ll find collections and studies from previous dragon slayers: dragon findings, drawings, and heroic potions. Always stay alert, the dragon is closer than you think.
Those staying won’t only have to content themselves with a night in the swamp though as the back half of the suite (where the bunk beds are located) is said to be themed to a medieval tent featuring the colours of fire and water.
This part of the room features further interactive elements to “help them train” in their quest to “defeat the dragon” ahead of their ‘big battle’.
Your stay in the Joris en de Draak themed suite again includes a hearty breakfast, Access to swimming pool Het Badhuys in Efteling Bosrijk & Free parking at the nearby car park too.

Stays in both rooms also include an additional half hour early entry into the park allowing for some exclusive ride time ahead of the park’s public opening hours.
Both sound amazing right? Well, as you’d expect as great as it all sounds stays in both rooms do of course come at a premium.
Based on a family of 4 (two adults and two children) staying one night in either suite from January 2026 onwards, those looking to book one of these rooms can expect to pay a minimum price of €763.22 (€742.50 + €15.72 Tourist Tax) per night.
This is very costly, but at the end of the day as high as the price sounds it’s an experience you’re ultimately purchasing.
