World’s TALLEST Coaster Wheel Opens In South Korea.
the World’s TALLEST Coaster Wheel has just Opened to the public at an amusement park In South Korea.
GYEONGJU WORLD located in South Korea has just opened a brand new Intamin Coaster Wheel & it’s the tallest of it’s kind anywhere worldwide!
Standing at a total height of 51 metres (164 ft) Time Rider (as the new coaster wheel is known) offers a unique way to enjoy views of the surrounding area.
The new ride features a mix of mobile gondolas and fixed gondolas meaning those boarding can choose whether or not they wish to take a thrilling ride or a relaxing one.
Further more, not only is Time Rider the first ride of it’s kind to open in Sorth Korea, but it’s also the FIFTH coaster wheel to open anywhere worldwide too.

Time Rider also features it’s very own custom theming and LED lighting package too standing as a focal ride to help build on the park’s identity.
Gyeongju World officially welcomed guests aboard their new world record breaking ride on Saturday 28th June in time to celebrate the park’s 40th anniversary this year!
As mentioned previously too Time Rider offers two seperate ride experiences with it 16 mobile (thrilling) gondolas & it’s 8 stationary (chilled) gondolas meaning those boarding have a choice of which ride experience they would rather take on.
Time Rider’s distinctive design helps the ride stand out for miles around too making it one of the first rides guests see when arriving at the park with it’s iconic branded colouring and lighting package.
It’s said that whether you appreciate a magnificent landscape, engage with the moving gondolas, or simply enjoy the dynamic atmosphere of a theme park, Time Rider will provide an exceptional experience for all who ride it.
Speaking on Time Rider’s official opening Intamin have stated;
