Headline Rides & Attractions.

Universal Epic Universe is set to feature a whole host of different stand out rides and attractions.

These include a variety of different roller coasters (most manufactured by German ride manufacturer MACK Rides), a full range of innovative new dark rides (said to utilise technology not yet seen within other Universal Parks) and other attractions including a boat ride, carousel and more.

Perhaps the most talked about new ride to open at Universal Epic Universe though is Starfall Racers – a gigantic new dueling MACK Rides Mega Coaster.

Described as giving guests the chance to ride aback shooting stars this ginormous roller coaster will make up the star attraction of Celestial Park.

The ride is said to reach speeds of up to 62 mph, heights of up to 133 ft and span a total length of 5,000 ft from beginning to end.

Constellation Carousel also makes up the second major attraction located within Celestial Park. This highly unique, one of a kind traditional carousel ride is said to take the carousel experience to the next level giving guests an experience they’ve never had before on any other ride of this kind.

Overall, Universal Epic Universe is said to feature over 50 different “awe-inspiring” rides and attractions for guests to sink their teeth into throughout their visit.

Putting the 'Park' Back In Theme Park!

Universal Epic Universe is said to be putting ‘park’ back in theme park with a whole range of different, purpose built green spaces.

Celestial Park is perhaps the best example of this as guests can expect to enjoy plenty of relaxing green spaces, unique water features, fountains and more.

The move by Universal Destinations & Experiences to add this dynamic to Universal Epic Universe displays their commitment to maintaining the natural environment and helping create a more environmentally friendly experience for guests visiting the park.

The new resort is also said to be Universal Destinations & Experiences’ latest development to integrate energy efficiency and sustainable construction practices.

We can see this by just how much greenery the park features. From trees and foliage to open green spaces, fountains and more Epic Universe really does display the innovation taking place at Universal Destinations and Experiences.

Green spaces also allow guests the chance to take five and relax whilst others (mainly younger guests) head off and enjoy the rides and attractions on offer at the park.

As well as featuring over 50 different rides and attractions Universal Epic Universe is also set to feature plenty of green spaces too.

When Will Universal Epic Universe Open?

At present, no official opening date has yet been set for Universal Epic Universe other than 2025.

We would however expect Universal to reveal an opening date mid to late 2024 allowing those who wish to visit the chance to book their accommodation and flights in plenty of time.

This is however just our thoughts on the matter, but given the hype surrounding the project it’s no secret that Universal Destinations and Experience will know that fans want to know asap.

Current testing, construction progress and overall developments do seem to put the park on track for opening next year and as such we’d expect an announcement sooner rather than later.

In the meantime why not check out the below official reveal video by Universal Destinations and Experiences showcasing just how far the company has come over the past 60 years, the innovation taking place and even more about what you can expect from Universal Epic Universe when it finally opens next year!
