Alton Towers Resort introduce two brand new hotel experiences for 2021!
Well, Alton Towers have gone and done it again as the resort introduce two brand new hotel experiences for the 2021 season.
Alton Towers resort which is widely considered to be the UK’s top theme park resort have today confirmed not just one, but two brand new hotel experiences for their upcoming season.
Along with their totally eccentric, family focused Gangsta Granny hotel experience, the resort have today confirmed they’ll also be catering to chocolate aficionados too.
Alton Towers have joined forces with British confectionery giant Cadbury to bring a brand new overnight experience that will have guests watering at the mouth from the minute their enter the room.
This indulgent new addition to the resort’s most famous onsite hotel has been designed to resemble a chocolate factory.
The room features Cadbury’s iconic purple and gold throughout as and utilises reasonably sourced fake cocoa beans, pipes and dials on the walls to recreate the feeling of staying in your very own factory.
The room is also interactive and guests will have the chance to search for hidden treats throughout their stay as well as following clues to crack a safe oozing with more delicious delights!
The new room can sleep up to six in total and features a large double bed, a double sofa bed and themed bunk beds as well as being split into two.
The lounge area features large makeshift control panel featuring an array of cogs behind the iconic Cadbury logo.
Guests can use a handle to turn the cogs and let their imaginations run wild as they imagine themselves running the factory!
The last chocolate themed room to feature at the resort did so 25 years ago and the Cadbury room makes up yet another new addition to a full array of themed rooms available to stay in overnight at the resort.
Speaking about the new Cadbury room the resort’s Hotels and Accommodations Development Director Janet Gurr said;
“We pride ourselves on creating thrilling, memorable and innovative experiences and we’re sure our guests will love the latest addition in our portfolio of unique themed suites.”
Alongside the addition of this sweet new overnight experience hotel guests will also have the chance to book themselves into one of four Gangsta Granny themed rooms too.
Each room features illustrations on the walls and bathroom hand drawn by the illustrator themselves and the 24 colour illustrated carpet is said to have taken up to 12 weeks to produce!
Whilst staying in one of these brand new rooms the children will have the chance to sleep in the Tower of London whilst parents sleep under the watchful gaze of Ben and Granny.
During their stay the children will also have the chance to read books on the mobility chair or go on their very own hunt for a magical code to unlock the vault and bag themselves a sweet reward from Raj’s shop.
There are of course many other themed rooms to choose from whilst staying at the hotel and these include Arctic Voyage, Moon Landing and Splish Splash.
Alton Towers resort also features many other great overnight options too such as the self contained accommodation ‘Enchanted Village’, the ever popular Star Gazing Pods and the incredible sought after CBeebies Hotel.
The Cadbury Room along with others will be available to book into from May 17th onwards inline with current government guidelines relating to the easing of lock down.
