MAHUKA Is NOW OPEN At Walibi Rhone Alpes!
MAHUKA is NOW OPEN at Walibi Rhone Alpes in France. The first of it’s kind ride here in Europe features as part of a newly created themed land named Exotic Island.
The Intamin Hot Racer roller coaster – a single rail, multi-launched roller coaster invites thrill seekers to step aboard and embark on a perilous quest inside the abandoned temple of an ancient fire god.
Exotic Island also features full 360 degree immersive theming, a catering outlet named Tiki Fruits and so much more besides.
In a BRAND NEW official on ride POV shared by Intamin themselves (the new ride’s manufacturer) fans of the park are treated to their first look at Walibi Rhone Alpes fantastic new family thrill coaster.
MAHUKA (which is Hawaiian for ‘Escape’) officially opened to the public this Saturday gone – June 15th after huge anticipation built following the ride’s testing phase.
The new roller coaster features 3 inversions, reaches heights of up to 59 ft and reaches speeds of up to 42 mph. it can also seat up to 600 riders per hour and spans a total length of 1,968.5 ft from beginning to end.
MAHUKA’s opening also marks the park’s 45th anniversary and the latest new addition to Walibi Rhone Alpes NEW for 2022 area Exotic Island.
The first Intamin Hot Racer roller coaster (named Big Dipper) first opened at Luna Park in Sydney, Australia in 2021.
