Gröna Lund Open Unique NEW Ride For 2025!
Gröna Lund have opened a rather unique looking NEW ride for 2025! Pumpen (aka. The Pump) opened at the Swedish amusement park to crowds of excited thrill seekers on April 26th.
The park’s new Super Swing M20 (manufactured and produced by Swiss rides manufacturer RES Rides) is the second ride of it’s kind to open anywhere worldwide.
Pumpen is said to provide an “exhilarating experience” as guests are launched high into the air while swinging back and forth in suspended high-speed motion.
The RES RIDES’ flat ride is designed to provide a dynamic and heart-pumping experience as riders soar to dizzying heights that are combined with rapid swings and a sensation of weightlessness.
Each swing is said to be a “gravity-defying suspended moment” and is perfect for thrill seekers seeking out their next BIG challenge.
Initial plans for Pumpen’s addition to Grona Lund date back as far as 2022 when the park reached out to RES Rides to add a new, one-of-a-kind thrill ride to the park for 2025.
Speaking about this, Roman Rothe, CEO of RES says;
“‘Gröna Lund came to us and told us what they were looking for. We adapted our Super Swing M20 to deliver the kind of thrill and excitement that they were looking for. We’re very excited about Pumpen!”
The Super Swing M20 can be programmed to deliver a gentle ride for kids and families, or an adrenaline pumping ride for adrenaline seeking riders. Programs can be changed at a touch of a button to cater to demographics at different times of the day.
RES Rides are also well known for creating, building and supporting some of the most unique water rides and attractions within the industry to date too with no two rides ever said to be the same.
The manufacturer are always on the lookout to create new and exciting ride experiences where practical too with innovation said to be at the forefront of everything the company achieves.
