Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach Opens THREE New Rides For 2024!

Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach have announced they plan to open THREE new rides for the park’s 2024 season.

The iconic seaside amusement park located in the Norfolk based coastal town of Great Yarmouth have revealed plans to add three fantastic new attractions to their current line up for this season.

Polar Express, Ghost Ship and Race-o-Rama will all join Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach’s current rides and will expand on their current family friendly ride offering.

Primarily known for it’s iconic traditional wooden roller coaster the popular seaside amusement park has continued to wow and entertain families since first opening to the public in 1909 making Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach 125 years old this year.

The three new attractions will open to the public in time for the upcoming May bank holiday and will join the park’s other 26 current rides and attractions on offer.

Ghost Ship

Ghost ship – a classic swinging pirate ship is set to join Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach this season.

The ride will offer younger and older guests alike a high seas thrill experience as they swing backwards and forwards to head spinning heights while taking on the thrill of the classic pirate ship experience.

Ghost Ship is said to be launching at the park in time for the upcoming May Bank Holiday.

Race-o-Rama

Race-o-Rama – a fixed junior carousel like ride is also set to join Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach’s other 26 rides and attractions this season.

The new family friendly addition will give younger guests the chance to hop inside their very own race car and race other riders to the finish line.

Race-o-Rama is aimed at younger children and will make the perfect new addition for smaller guests visiting the park either for the first time or alongside their older siblings.

Polar Express

The final of the THREE new rides – Polar Express is set to give older riders a rush as they step aboard this fast paced, thrill ride.

The circular thrill ride features 20 car and a “kiss cover” & is said to whip those brave enough around and around as they enjoy fast paced music to accompany the attraction’s icy blast of speed.

Polar Express is your classic bobsled ride and will prove great fun for any die hard thrill seeker young or old.

How Much Will My Visit Cost?

So, now that we’ve shared a little more information about Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach’s upcoming new rides you’re probably wondering “how much will my visit cost?”.

Adults and children aged over 7 can enjoy unlimited all day riding from just £21.00 per person (height restrictions apply).

Those aged between 3 and 7 years of age can enjoy the same for just £15.00 per child while those aged 3 and under are FREE.

If you’d rather steer clear of the day crowds and head to the park during the evening instead then evening tickets are also available priced at £15.00 per person.

If you’d rather pay on a ‘pay per ride’ basis instead then don’t worry – Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach also offer Fun Cards which can be loaded from £5.00 upwards and can be used to pay for rides with credits as you go.
