Europa Park Announce Silver Lake City Expansion Plans!
Europa Park is set to expand their wild western themed accommodation Silver Lake City this year!
The highly acclaimed family theme park resort based in Rust, Germany have revealed plans to drastically refurbish and expand their iconic wild west themed family camping accommodation Silver Lake City.
The work is set to take place in two phases with the last set to reach completion in 2026 and will see new eateries and accommodation added to the site.
In an official update earlier this week Michael Mack – CEO of Europa Park revealed they are planning to add a full range of 36 new lodges, a permanent 100 room hotel, a buffet restaurant and bar named the “Wild Horse Bar” by 2026.
Along with the news, Michael Mack also unveiled the following concept art (pictured below).

As mentioned previously the work is set to take place over two phases – the first scheduled to reach completion by the end of 2025.
This will see 36 new “houses” added to the site as well as a new, fully themed family buffet restaurant (name still TBC – as far as we’re aware) added to Silver Lake City.
Phase two will see the addition of a brand new 100 room “guest house” (hotel) and brewery complete with tap room open by the end of 2026.
Describing Silver Lake City on their official website, Europa Park state the following;
“Welcome to Silver Lake City – a Wild West town full of stories and legends. Just a five-minute walk from Europa-Park’s main entrance, adventure awaits. Whether you are looking for the perfect accommodation in Tipi Town or want to enjoy the great outdoors with your own home at Europa-Park Caravaning or Camping, Silver Lake City offers a wide range of options.”
As well as the inclusion of these new additions to Silver Lake City, Europa Park is also set to open a brand new dark ride (MACK Rides Gameplay Theatre) within the park itself this year too.
2025 will also see Europa Park celebrate their 50th anniversary throughout 2025 as well with a special ‘pre-opening’ of the park set to take place on March 15th ahead of the park’s official Summer season opening on March 22nd.
An exact completion date for Phase One has still yet to be announced, however we’ll be sure to keep you all up to date as and when further news drops in the months ahead.
