ENSO - A Twisted New Way to Experience ICON at Blackpool Pleasure Beach this Easter!
ENSO – One of two highly anticipated new additions to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the park’s 2022 season opens for ride previews this weekend!
The park invite those brave enough to experience ICON in a whole new way as they twist and spin out of control on the UK’s only double launched roller coaster.
In a brand new marketing email sent out today (April 1st 2022) the park confirm the opening of the new ride experience from this weekend onwards for ride previews;
“Excitement is building for ENSŌ at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, which opens THIS WEEKEND for ride previews!
The UK’s first and only double-launch rollercoaster ICON is getting twisted this Easter with ENSŌ. In a first for Europe, ICON’s rear seats have been adapted so that riders can spin and twist during the ride’s thrilling duration.”

In an earlier release the park also confirmed those wishing to experience ENSO would have two admission options to choose from.
Standard Admission (priced at £15.00 per ride) will enable riders access to the new experience via ICON’s standard queue line.
The VIP option (priced at £25.00 per ride) allows those wishing to experience ENSO the chance to cut down their wait time by up to 90% allowing almost immediate access onto the ride (presumably by accessing ENSO via ICON’s speedy pass queue line).
You can book your slot on ENSO via the Pleasure Beach’s official app on the day of your visit and upon doing so you will be allocated a timer which will countdown to your time of boarding.
This means you can enjoy other rides and attractions at the park whilst waiting for your chance to “get twisted” on the Pleasure Beach’s thrilling new experience.
