Drayton Manor Have Officially Confirmed The Name Of Their NEW 2024 Land!
Drayton Manor Resort have just revealed the name of their NEW for 2024 wild western themed land!
Frontier Falls – the official name for the park’s newest themed area will open to the public on March 24th 2024.
The newly themed land is set to include a host of exisiting and one major new attraction later this year – Drayton Manor’s NEW for 2024 Intamin family lift & launch roller coaster (name still TBC).
Given the chosen tagline “Where Legends Strike Gold” though we’re definitely expecting to see the new coaster themed to a gold mine & given current rumours of the ride being ‘mine train themed’ this would certainly make sense.
Drayton Manor revealed the news this morning after a short teaser campaign on their social channels throughout this week.
Frontier Falls will see the park’s existing dark ride Sheriff Showdown, the 4D Cinema (now confirmed to be called Falls Cinema) and Blasting Barrels (the new confirmed name for Drunken Barrels) all combined into the land as well as the new roller coaster currently under construction.
It’s also been recently noticed that Accelerator is currently undergoing re-theming work too leading to speculation the park’s 2011 roller coaster could also be combined into Frontier Falls as well.
The future of The Haunting still remains unclear though and as such we’re not too sure whether or not Drayton Manor will choose to re-theme the ride inline with Frontier Falls in the not too distant future.
Regardless of this Frontier Falls certain appears to fit the theme of the land perfectly and given the recent marketing campaign we’re definitely getting ‘American Adventure’ vibes from it.
Along with the reveal of the land’s new name we were also provided with further information regarding the new 4D experience replacing Thomas & Friends: Bubbling Boilers.
Loony Tunes is set to take center stage as Wile E. Coyote & Roadrunner battle it out in a BRAND NEW, action packed 4D experience.
The new show will open with the 4D theatre which is now confirmed as mentioned previously to be called Falls Cinema!
More information about the name of the new roller coaster and it’s official opening date is still yet to be confirmed but hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer!
