Amanda Holden Scales Blackpool Tower's Dizzying Hieghts For Charity!
Amanda Holden scaled the dizzying heights of The Blackpool Tower this morning as she attempted to raise money for Global’s Make Some Noise.
This morning’s climb was the first challenge in a series of five set to take place LIVE on the Heart Breakfast Show each morning between October 2nd and October 6th.
Heart Breakfast’s Race Against Time challenges both Amanda Holden & showbiz presenter Ashley Roberts to complete 5 epic challenges in no more than 5 hours over 5 days in total.
Global’s Make Some Noise (who are celebrating 10 years of changing lives this year) support amazing small Charities across the UK.
The charities they support tackle such issues as food poverty, domestic abuse and mental health as well as homelessness, loneliness and those living with life limiting disabilities to name but a few.
All funds raised through donations towards supporting Heart Breakfast’s Race Against Time will go directly into helping the charities Global’s Make Some Noise carry out their life changing work,
Following the completion of her challenge in just 57 minutes and 59 seconds, Amanda Holden shared some shots on her social media (shown below) showing her atop the tower with her instructor.
Following Amanda’s successful completion of this morning’s climb, tomorrow morning’s 2nd challenge (set to be completed by Ashley Roberts) was revealed live on air revealing she will be taking on something even more challenging.
Ash’s Cash Dash will see Ashley Roberts attempt to find £15,000.00 hidden around the UK’s most extreme assault course.
To date, donations towards supporting the pair currently stand at around £13,000.00 with over 120 donations having been made so far.
