World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris gets Opening Date!
The World of Frozen – Disneyland Paris’ latest new immersive world has finally been given that highly covetted opening date we’ve all been waiting for!
In an dazzling display of technological genius Disneyland Paris unveiled World of Frozen’s upcoming grand opening in true Disney style using drones to spell out the land’s official opening date high above the park.
The announcement came following a teaser earlier the previous week that something magical would be announced the following week, and it wasn’t just an opening date Disney fans got either.
NEW details were also announced about what else guests can expect from Disney Studios Park’s latest new addition too including when the park will transition into it’s shiny new identity of Disney Adventure World.
Alongside World of Frozen’s opening date fans were also greeted by a new, first of it’s kind “living animatronic” who will be roaming the land when it opens next year.
Olaf, the franchises loveable snowman will greet guests as they explore World of Frozen next year in a new and magical way.
Disney Imagineering’s latest technological marvel breathes life into Frozen’s adorable character like never before allowing Olaf to roam the land freely whilst greeting and meeting visitors at the same time.
The new animatronic uses brand new technology unique to Disney themselves to allow the character to move in the most lifelike way possible.
As well as this, The World of Frozen will also feature the iconic Frozen Ever After boat ride and will also feature brand new dining and retail options as well as the chance to meet and greet with Ana and Elsa themselves.
World of Frozen doesn’t just mark the introduction of the park’s latest new immersively themed land though, it will also signal the beginning of a brand new era for Walt Disney Studios park too.
The brand new land’s opening will coinside with the transition of the park into it’s brand new identity of Disney Adventure World.
The newly reimagined park will feature a whole host of exciting new experiences including an innovative new light, water and drone spectacular over the lake at the end of each day.
As well as this the park will also see the opening of a brand new Lion King themed land in the next couple of years (the construction for which has already begun) and there are even rumours we could see a land themed to James Cameron’s iconic AVATAR at the park too.
So, when will all of this take place and indeed, WHEN will World of Frozen finally open to guests for the very first time?
The World of Frozen is set to open on 29th March 2026 and on the same date, Walt Disney Studios park will become Disney Adventure World.
Alongside this announcement Disneyland Paris have also unveiled a brand new park map showing how Disney Adventure World will be laid out post opening.
As if that wasn’t enough Disney Adventure World will also feature TWO other new areas too with Adventure Way and Adventure Bay.
Adventure Way will feature new rides themed to Tangled and Disney Pixar’s UP and Adventure Bay will be where the magical evening show takes place.
The introduction of these exciting new lands mark’s Disneyland Paris’ single LARGEST expansion to date and will set the standard for things to come where Disney Adventure World’s exciting future is concerned.
