Yorkshire Scare Grounds Returns For 15 Years Of Fear!
Yorkshire Scare Grounds Scream Park is BACK this Halloween season as it celebrates 15 years of fear in the heart of Yorkshire!
The highly acclaimed Halloween scream park based just outside the Yorkshire town of Wakefield is set to return this Halloween as the event marks 15 years of fear.
Yorkshire Scare Grounds was first founded by founder Chris Walton who’s love for Halloween parties spawned the event we now know and love in 2010.
After rapidly becoming popular the team partnered with Fear Masters Productions (the team behind the current event) and purchased their own land just off Hell Lane, Wakefield creating and building the event we’ve all come to know today.
This year, Yorkshire Scare Grounds Scream Park plans to mark it’s 15th anniversary with 4 immersive scaremazes and 3 outdoor scarezones offering 7 chilling back to back scare experiences under one roof (so to speak).

So, what can you expect from your visit to Yorkshire Scare Grounds Scream Park this year? And what will 15 years of fear offer those brave enough to visit? Let’s take a look!
3 Chilling Scare Zones!
Yorkshire Scare Grounds Scream Park 2025 is set to play host to THREE immersive outdoor scarezones, an increase on the former 2 offered in previous years.
Freak Show, Cult of the Farm and Containment all make up this year’s 3 scare zones offering everything from undead killer clowns to mutants and evil killer cult memebers are set to stalk their victims as those brave enough dare to venture into each individual territory.
In past years the popular halloween event has featured just two, however one has evolved from a former outdoor scaremaze into that of a brand new, extended scare zone.
Past years have also featured a killer circus scare zone at the start too so this seems to be staying the case, but in previous years the outdoor zones have also felt lacking in actors and as such this is something we hope to see improved upon this year.

4 Terrifying Scaremazes!
This year is set to feature FOUR immersive, indoor scare mazes and this follows the trend of past years, but one has undergone a complete refurb and transformation for 2025.
Not much is yet known how the new experience will be changed from it’s past iteration, however given Yorkshire Scare Grounds’ continued efforts to improve and refresh with each and every year this newly designed addition definitely has us excited to find out more about what’s instore.
This year’s four scaremazes consist of Die Glocke 2, Les Morts Vivants, Infernal Inn and Old Mercy. Old Mercy is said to be the newest and most ambitious of their scare attractions yet and this is the one we’re eager to find out more about.
We also have a good idea where each of these four additions will be with Infernal Inn likely to take place inside the attraction’s ‘hotel’ set, Les Morts Vivants likely to replace the ‘village’ set and Old Mercy likely to conclude the experience.
Regardless, those brave enough look set to take on everything from killer surgeons and evil spirits to interdimensional ww2 nazis and vampires this Halloween.

Spooktacular Live Entertainment!
As with previous years it’s not just the scare experiences guests can look forward to when visiting Yorkshire Scare Grounds Scream Park!
Alongside that those brave enough to visit can also look forward to encounter a full entourage of live actors around the attraction too from the moment they enter the queue line to the moment they exit their last maze.
Eugene, Jack and Bobo will be on hand to ensure those visiting remain terrified at all times as will the Bride, Lord Fear and other roaming characters.
There will however also be live entertainment on stage at the end of the attraction too in the ‘chill out’ zone.
Here it’s expected guests will be able to calm their nerves and recouperate with a cold drink and some live music etc.

Fiendishly Delicious Food & Drink!
This year also sees Yorkshire Scare Grounds Scream Park’s extensive range of food and drink return too with a full range of hot and cold options available upon concluding your experience and a fully licensed bar on offer too.
From cheese burgers and hot dogs to chips, sweets, donuts and more guests can expect to chow done on some deliciously fresh food after having the living day lights scared out of them.
Jack’s Backyard Bar also returns this year too serving up beers, wines, cider, spirits and more all in a relaxed, enclosed setting safe from the rain outside.
Also, if you fancy capturing a memory or two while there the Fear 2 Photo photo booth will also return this Halloween too helping daring guests create the perfect moment of terror to cherish forever!
