Efteling Breaks NEW World Record At Opening Of New Hotel!
Efteling have broken a NEW world record at the opening of their new signature hotel – Efteling Grand Hotel yesterday (Friday 1st August 2025).
The enchanting, netherlands based family theme park and resort officially took a new world record at yesterday’s opening with a giant green ribbon bow attached to the facade of the new hotel.
The Ribbon Bow, now officially the world’s LARGEST of it’s kind was placed on the front of the hotel to mark the official opening of the Efteling Grand Hotel.
The bow itself measures 16.74 meters wide and 17.15 meters high & was announced as a record breaker in line with the decision taken earlier that morning by an independent adjudicator from the globally renown Guinness World Records body themselves.
A certificate of recognition for the new world record was presented to the park’s CEO Fons Jurgens during the hotel’s opening ceremony.
Speaking about the new world record Fons Jurgens, CEO of Efteling said;

Efteling Grand Hotel, now open to the public is the park’s most abitious and most luxurious new hotel property yet.
The signature accommodation sits within the boundaries of the theme park itself offering unique views of the House of the Five Senses,The Fairytale Forest, the Aquanura Show and Pardoes Promenade.
Efteling’s latest hotel features 140 rooms, 644 comfy beds, 7 storeys, a total footprint of 106 meters and 3 different eaterys as well as a boutique shop, gift shop and spa to name but a few other exciting features.
