CADBURY WORLD Reopens Under NEW Management by MERLIN ENTERTAINMENTS!

Cadbury World near Birmingham has finally welcomed guests for the first time under it’s new management by Merlin Entertainments.

The global visitor attractions operator finally took possession of the attraction in January of this year following a buy out in early 2022.

Merlin Entertainments are no stranger to the Cadburys chocolate brand and as such hold a long existing contract with the iconic chocoaltier to stock Cadbury products in all of their theme parks and attractions worldwide.

This is particularly evident by the prominent presence of Cadburys products throughout all of their major UK parks & attractions.

Alton Towers Resort even has it’s own chocolate themed hotel suite offering families the chance to find hidden Cadburys goodies around the suite itself.

Cadbury World is synonymous with bringing to life the long history behind the illustrious British confectionery manufacturers.

It therefore comes as no surprise that Merlin would want to add the decadent attraction to their ever expanding portfolio of themed attractions worldwide.

Cadbury World finally reopened under it’s new management earlier this week and on LinkedIn Emma Kettle – the attraction’s Reservations Manager says;

“There’s been a lot to learn in a few short weeks, but the teams have worked fantastically hard to learn the new ways of operating and how we can deliver the Merlin magic to our visitors. There’s some exciting times ahead!”

The attraction formerly operated under Mondelez International and changed to Merlin in February of 2022 (Click Here to learn more).

The addition of Cadbury World to Merlin Entertainments portfolio of themed parks and attractions shows the operators commitment to growing their brand and exploring new avenues and ventures where possible.

Merlin Entertainments also won the operational rights to Blackpool’s iconic indoor seaside water park – The Sand Castle earlier last year too.

Overall, the new takeover is certainly exciting and provides pass holders with the possibility of visiting even more themed parks and attractions in the years ahead.

Entry to Cadbury World with a valid Merlin Annual Pass is however still yet to be announced although we remain hopeful this will become possible in the months ahead.
