Donkey Kong Coaster Continues To Progress Hugely At Universal Epic Universe!
The NEW Donkey Kong Coaster known as Donkey Kong: Mine Cart Madness continues to make HUGE progress at Universal Epic Universe.
The new first of it’s kind roller coaster created and patented by Universal Studios themselves creates the illusion of jumping between broken tracks.
Although the new Donkey Kong coaster is set to open it’s first iteration at Universal Studios Japan later this year Orlando’s newest theme park is also set to open one too in 2025.
Donkey Kong: Mine Cart Madness makes up the headline ride in an expansion of the already critically acclaimed Super Nintendo World (currently open at both Universal Studios Japan & Hollywood) known as Donkey Kong Country.
Donkey Kong Country is set to open along with the original Super Nintendo World in 2025 at Universal Epic Universe – Universal Orlando Resort’s NEW third gate park.
In recent images published by well known theme park blogger Bioreconstruct we can see significant progress has been made on the Donkey Kong Coaster’s surrounding theming.
The blue rocks coupled with plans and more all seem to be bursting with colour and more steel framework can also be seen in place ready for more of the rock work to be added in due course.
The new Donkey Kong Coaster is perhaps one of the most anticipated new rides at the park and is up there with Starfall Racers as everyone’s MUST ride attraction when the park opens next year.
No exact date has yet been set for Universal Epic Universe to open, however many are anticipating a late Spring/early Summer 2025 opening.
This would definitely make sense given just how much is still left to do and how popular the park will infact be with guests once open.
