Top Thrill Tourists' Very Own Karl & Emma Join Us For A Chat.
Top Thrill Tourists – one of the UK theme park communities most well revered and highly respected names.
Since first establishing their Youtube channel back in 2019, Top Thrill Tourists has managed to surpass well over 300,000 views & has continually thrilled and entertained all who have watched.
Close friends Karl & Emma are also well known for their witty approach and constant on screen banter which never ceases to entertain and in turn keeps their content fresh.
The dynamic duo are however known for far more than just theme park vlogs.
Over the years Top Thrill Tourists have also visited everything from water parks to scare attractions alongside their usual theme park jaunts and have teamed up with other creators such as ScareTrack and Park Spill to deliver some of the best laughs we have had in quite some time.
We were therefore thrilled when Top Thrill Tourists agreed to join us for a chat and spill the beans on how TTT first came to be and what drives them to create what we consider to be some of the most engaging video content out there to date.
Who are Top Thrill Tourists?
We are Emma and Karl! We met in college when we were 16 and have been friends ever since!
The Top thrill tourists YouTube channel is predominantly theme park vlogs, but we also vlog other fun days out too!
How did the channel first come about?
What first inspired you to create the content you do?
Well as we were visiting the parks anyway we thought it would be cool to vlog our days out mainly for the memories to look back on, especially the ones which involve our kids.
Just so happened that people enjoy watching…which still blows our minds.
What do you enjoy most about running the channel?
The biggest thing for us aside from the memories, is all the friends we have made along the way.
The UK theme park community is huge and full of so many wonderful people, most of them we can now call our friends!
What types of content do you most enjoy creating?
Our main content is our YouTube vlogs which are always so fun to film, but we also love uploading photos on to our Instagram and posting about our adventures on Facebook.
We have recently started using TikTok too….but I still don’t get it. That makes me sound old doesn’t it?!
Which theme park stands out the most as being your overall favourite & why?
We both absolutely adore Blackpool Pleasure Beach. There’s just no where better to be in our opinion.
The mix of old and new in the park is just so exciting to see. Pleasure beach always has an amazing atmosphere, and you can’t beat a beveragino in FY4 on a hot summers day!
What challenges have you faced along the way?
How does the future look for Top Thrill Tourists?
2023 is going to be a fun year for us. We will be updating a few things and also trying some new stuff content wise.
We are still going to be vlogging but will also be adding a few other fun things to the channel for people to enjoy. Watch this space!
Aside from visiting theme parks, what else do you enjoy?
well we are both parents so our children are our main priority but along side that we both enjoy going to gigs and socialising.
