Gruffalo and Friends head to Blackpool This Spring In A Magical New Family Attraction!
Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse is coming to Blackpool seafront this Spring!
The first of it’s kind Merlin Entertainments owned and operated attraction will be the company’s 8th attraction to open in Blackpool.
Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse is an immersive interactive family play experience similar in it’s design to that of the Peter Rabbit attraction which also recently opened in the Flyde Coast’s iconic seaside resort too.
Families are invited to immerse themselves into the whimsical world of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler as they join iconic characters such as Zog, Mouse and even the Gruffalo himself on a journey of discovery.
The new attraction, which is said to have cost a total of £2.3 million and taken 18 months to create will wow and mesmerise children and families alike.
Alongside today’s official reveal of Gruffalo and Friends, Merlin also released the following concept art which gives us a first taste of what we can expect from the new attraction when it finally welcomes the public this coming May.
As well as revealing the details of Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse, Kate Shane – Regional Director for Blackpool said;
“We are incredibly excited to bring some of the UK’s best loved children’s characters to Blackpool.
The Gruffalo and other characters from the world of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler will be amongst brilliant company alongside our already strong cluster of family attractions on the resort, delivered with Merlin’s world-class guest experience.
This significant investment further supports Merlin’s strategic growth plans, bringing further jobs and economic benefit to the local community and wider region.”
As mentioned previously, Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse is set to open this coming May in the unit next to the current Sealife Blackpool attraction.
The attraction’s location is currently hidden behind blue construction walls, however when it eventually launches it’s sure to ignite the imaginations of children and adults alike.
