Fantasiana Make HUGE Progress On NEW 2025 Coaster!
Fantasiana have made HUGE progress on their NEW 2025 coaster Helios! In recent shorts shared by the park’s general manager Mario Pauritsch the majority of the ride’s construction now seems to have taken place.
Tuesday January 21st also saw the highest point of the ride topped off too with the final crest of the lift being hoisted and secured into place.
Helios is set to open at the Austrian theme park later this year and will be the second ride of it’s kind to open anywhere worldwide too.
The MACK Rides Stryker Coaster (the same ride type as Voltron Nevera Powered By RIMAC at Europa Park) replaces the park’s former Pax Company Wild Train family coaster – Wild Train (imaginative right? haha).
Mario Pauritsch has been doing an excellent job of keeping fans up to date with the latest construction progress over the past few months and as such has shared plenty of shots over on his social media.
Here are some of the more recent shots he’s shared with fans!

Not much is really known about what guests can expect from Helios at present, however plenty of animated concepts have been uploaded online providing an educated guess as to what riders can expect once open.
Helios will also be Fantasiana’s second only coaster with the other being an ART Engineering GmbH family launch coaster named Fridolin’s verrückter Zauberexpress (Fridolin’s Crazy Magic Express) which first opened at the park back in 2021.
Talking about Helios on their official website, Fantasiana state the following;
“This exciting project promises pure adrenaline and increases the anticipation with each passing day. The planned opening of this spectacular ride is planned for the 2025 season. A dedicated team of engineers and construction workers will be working hard in the coming months to bring the captivating track and breathtaking elements of this roller coaster to life.”
Speaking further about Helios and the park’s chosen ride type, Fantasiana also state;
“The Stryker Coaster will undoubtedly offer an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. The “Stryker” vehicle type is the further development of the original vehicle type and ensures a smoother and more pleasant ride thanks to various innovations we cannot reveal at this point.”
Other content creators such as Wolfgang Payer has also been doing a great job of sharing the latest updates on this ride too.
An opening date has not yet been specified for Helios and indeed, the ride has still yet to reach completion, but it’s no secret the park’s newest addition will feature some pretty crazy elements and interaction with surrounding theming.
Regardless, we look forward to seeing this crazy looking roller coaster reach completion in the months ahead, so as soon as any further news regarding the ride becomes available we’ll be sure to share it here first on Theme Park Insanity.
